A couple flowers for May Day ...
Henbit was prolific in the yards around here this spring. Most people consider it a weed, but I think when the grass is brown anything green and lavender ought to be welcome!

I agree entirely. I also enjoy wildflowers that many others might consider "weeds". With those markings, little guy seems to be smiling at us!

I like how it does seem to smile, almost like your dog does when they see you coming through a door, that absolute love in their eyes makes your day seem brighter. I do like how that it's the focus of the shot, but I would ask if there were any way to make it clearer.
