For in and out, above, about, below,
'Tis nothing but a Magic Shadow-show,
Play'd in a Box whose Candle is the Sun,
Round which we Phantom Figures come and go.
From Edward Fitzgerald's Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
What I find a little odd is that when a dog IS angry, it never remains in lying down position, but stands on the tips of his toes. Perhaps this doggie is just warning [but in a mild way] that this is HIS place. I would try and find out his reasons for fear about losing his position - just look at the ears - flat = scared so the agression comes from fear. Please try and help this doggie to find his right place in the family or so.
