You've managed to do something that few people, with the exception of PatAndre and her mucky swamps, do and that is create a scene with soupy water that I actually like. I think maybe the waterfowl in the river help and of course the deep greens on the tree and the other foliage doesn't hurt, and I have to admit that there is a wonderful shine on that soup, but..well, you've done a nice job :)PJ
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I think I enoy this one more for what it suggests ... rather than fully displays. The bridge in the background, for one, would make a nice focal point and then frame it with the fronds on the right. Moving up and the in around to the right ... suggests alot of possibilities.
Capturing the birds does set off the image overall, so good job there.
So, not really a critique ... but a request for more. :o)
What a great photograph, and it looks fantastic on the desktop. Wonderful composition and clarity. Now if I could just get my mind off of the heat and humidity that makes the Riverwalk so lush and beautiful ....
