So much pathos and empathy in this shot Alice. Trying not to put too much human emotion into any interpretation but its hard with such evident humanity in that gaze. Who could harm such creatures? Beautifully composed and shot; you hit that focus smack on the eye with so little depth of field. Has to be seen at Full Magnification to get it. 10/10. It Rocks! Tommy

Wonderful image. These are such moody fellows. My neighbor had a pet they brought back from the Panama Canal Zone when I was young. I really miss that little buddy.
