I am speechless. I tried a little CG landscaping....I came up with some really weird towering glaciers and haven't been back since. This is breathtaking!

I think it's good for the first time as well. My only dislike is the frame tends to over power the main subject. Still this is a good start and I'm sure it will get much better.

Great job Jason, everything looks real good but for one thing. This is just me mind you but I think I would have made the image in the center(the actual Picture) a little larger after all that's the main attraction. Otherwise great job buddy.

I like this, but I do have to agree with Jerry on this one, the frame overpowers the picture a little too much. Otherwise excellent!

I like this. I feel like I'm soaring about the clouds and looking down on the scene. I must disagree with some of the others though...I really like the frame. I think it's glamorous and it show cases the piece nicely. Looks like it's ready to be on display at an art exhibit. (just my opinion) Great first attempt. Sarah

I think the terrain is good itself. The border is, umm..different. Lol. Its good, maybe a bit too big for my taste.

The main subject looks great! Wonderful for your first attempt. Much better than anything I could do after numerous attempts. However, I have to agree with the others about the frame. But, you never know what works, what doesn't, what you like, and what you don't if you don't try anything new. So I commend you for going out on the limb once again and trying something new. Great job.

It's a lovely piece, Jason, but first impression was,the framing completely dominates it, and the large expanse of gray matte tends to mute or blend with the subject, rather than compliment it.
If you take it into your editor, and add contrast till the foreground water is a deep blue, your grey will then be silver, and quite complimentary.
I'm not suggesting this corrects the heavy framing, or retains the mood of the original. Just something that's worth looking at, to see the difference in relationship, between subject and matte.

Very mystical - I like it a lot. I would like to see it without any frame, I think it would be spectacular. The size of the frame does not bother me but I think perhaps the outer frame is just a smigeon ornate for the serenity image,
Congratulations on an excellent creation.

Lovely Jason. I could print this and hang it up on the wall and wouldn't need a real frame as it has its own! :) Excellent first try. I have played around with the program a little, but not yet mastered it or produced anything worth posting. I would really like to have seen the picture larger to really appreciate it. Well done! Looking forward to seeing some more. Patti

One HECK of a First Effort Jason!!! Really. My first effort I didn't even use any Surfacing!
GREAT Job! That Sky really makes the lighting for the picture.

The frame is cool, but doesn't allow ya to really see the detail of the Image that well.
Looking forward to seeing More!! You'll probably ge addicted!! :-) :-)

Well, it's better than I can do that's for sure buddy. I don't know much about this type of work, but...

I don't care for the frame, the water/land need to blended more, it's a wee bland...you ask...sorry. :~(

The sky's really nice, great work there!! Honestly for a first attemp, it's alright. Keep pluggin' away at it and I'm sure you'll be a pro in no time Jason!!

I agree with the others... too much framing. However, I will say that the framing makes it look as though this is a piece of artwork on the wall. Great first attempt and I love the hazy, soft look. I can sense a budding artist!

Ephesians 2: 8 & 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven? And if you had to earn salvation it wouldn't be a gift, it would be a wage. Questions about Jesus?
