I wanted to capture a sence of the road's perspective. We spend so much time zooming over it without really stopping to peer through it's eyes. So I waited, and waited, and waited some more until there was no traffic. I laid down in the middle of the highway and saw what it sees each moment. It was peaceful. Then I heard a truck coming!

This is a great picture showing the texture of the road and the distant mountains. It looks quite lonely, but you should be very careful when you take this kind of shot.

Beautiful clear shot. You have captured the contrasts in landscape excellently - the mountains really stand out. Also the detail of the road matches the distance of the background well, with lovely natural colours. Great shot and high marks!

this is a really nice image. i really like the idea behind it, and the composition is almost just right....it's just that i would rather cut out a little bit of the road, near the bottom. some slight cropping would help. but again, this is really great!
