Couldn't stop on the freeway for the expanse of the Houston skyline you asked for Pat but this one from the Bayou that runs through downtown shows a part of it anyway along with some 'nature'. That's why we're called the "Bayou City". Will work on the full expanse when I want to play on the freeways. Enjoy and thanks for coming by. Anita

This is very nice. The river leads you right to downtown and the sky is very pretty here. good job.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

Fantastic skyline Anita! and wonderful natural colours! I just love the way the sky is reflecting on the buildings! It reminds me of when I was in Calgary in May - so many glass buildings all reflecting each other and the sky! excellent! Patti

Some have noticed the beautiful greenery so close to downtown. We have Memorial Park and the Bayou that are close and in downtown. Memorial Park is actually bigger than Central Park in New York. They are working to make the Bayou similar to the riverwalk in San Antonio. Right now it's mostly trails and beautiful nature walks...not spoiled by restaurants yet :) I love to go there in the mornings and walk so now I take the new Rebel with me even tho I still enjoy my little Canon Powershot S60. Thanks for your very kind words. Have a great day. Anita

Hi Anita, I like the contrast between the trees and the tower blocks, with the river running through it. The whole landscape looks so well balanced, and in harmony with each other.

This is my favourite, from your Houston Photos, Anita! The sky is lovely and I like reflections of clouds on the skyscraper - if I am using the right word - we don't have any of them in Yorkshire!
