One of the few times we flew over downtown Houston while landing at Hobby airport which is just south of downtown. Usually we come in over the Gulf of Mexico. While it was taken out of the window of the airplane (not the best quality), I wanted to share "my" beautiful city with my Caedes friends. If you look on the bottom left, you'll see the Bayou where I took some of the previous posts of the city and for you baseball fans, Minute Maid Park is on the upper side, almost middle ;) Thanks for taking a peek and I appreciate all of you. Anita

I would be a little nervous about landing at Hobby Airport .. I would want them to take their work a bit more seriously .. you know, go to school, turn in homework assignments, etc

nice view .. I haven't flown since leaving Hawaii in 1964 .. I still remember looking down into Diamond Head Volcano and seeing a Park Ranger station in it

A nice pic...it must be fun flying over the city on those hang gliders. So you landed at the airport? Must have made you feel like a big shot gliding on to the run way...police escort and all.

Interesting view. I can't quite get my bearings. I am looking for the George E. Brown Convention center. That's where I always went a lot when trucking into Houston. Or even better, to the Astrodome complex. Don't see either one. ????? Great shot of the city.

What an interesting view over Houston. It's so clear you could provide a traffic report. The news in Italy is reporting snow in Texas this morning...might be a different picture now. Thanks for sharing Anita.

The shot looks fine for me!....You have to remember there are two windows your camera has to shoot through to take a snap!....and if the window cleaner's ain't done their job proper!...then it's hell on us camera hounds>?......Thanks for an insight of where you live!...

That's really good from the air and through the window. It looks like the nose of the plane was tilted up and you are banking for your landing. Nice job, Anita!

Very good Anita. Next time you decide to fly, I would make sure the window cleaners did their job. However, it does add something to it.

I'm glad you cleared that up Anita ... I had visions of you standing out on the wing of the plane ... camera in one hand ... the other hand straining to keep your dress at a modest level. Whew! Beautiful shot of the City by the way.
