Far better than a lot of the first time fractals uploaded .. you already show a grasp of the editor and behind the scenes tinkering

TIPS: ..

1) .. render at least twice as large as you intend to post .. this will help alleviate some of that "low rez softness"

(if you have the time .. re-render this at 3200x2400 and resize using a quality resample algorithm (irfanview will work) .. do this only to prove the theory to yourself .. no need to re-upload)

2) .. consider .. either adding a transform and setting a small (0.025) of blur (gaussian, radial, blur, .. your choice) .. or just adding the blur to an existing transform

John is the king of blur .. whether he's proud of that or not
