I took this shot from right down at surf level. I loved the effect...the smooth flat look of the newly washed over sand...the tiny bubbles, even the color of the sand. Please let me know what you think.
This is a cool picture. I love the way that the sand appears iridescent. I also like the effect that makes me feel as if the waves are coming to cover me up. Great idea to take the picture at the surf level. The sky looks a little spotty to me, not as smooth as I might expect it, but overal a good job!
The image is really cool....The only thing I would work on is better contrast. The colors are great, it is just that it seems a little grayish (not that is is gray). Other then that it is really cool what you did. Great job
Overall this is a very deceptive image: There appears to be nothing but sand and water however Asrai you have taken those simple elements and turned them to your advantage. The sea foam forms a perfect leading line to the ocean.
The sand is smooth and tranquil and the ocean is rough and turbulent.
The only thing that could be done differently and yet add to its' beauty is to lose part of the sky. Right now the horizon line divides the image in half. In these simple images one element needs to be emphasized more than the other. So figure out what you are trying to emphasize and crop out part of the others.
I like this image very much and it does go to prove that less is more. Keep up the good work you have a good eye for composition and subject matter.
