This is pretty simple I guess....I really liked the look of that little patch of sunshine on the water.

What a wonderful capture Dot. It's so pleasing to the eye an the reflections in the water along with the blue of it are amazing. Excellent job. By the way, where is this? Thanks for sharing this. Anita

Sometimes simple is best Dot and this is simply wonderful...good eye for a pleasing shot here...that little bit of sunlight on the water, to me, speaks of lazy summer days of sitting back and reflecting and as Bob said the water colors are marvellous...good work.:Pat.

This is Carsonia Lake. In the early and mid 20th century there was a full blown amusement park just a few blocks a away from where I grew up, Carsonia Park...the lake featured boat rides. Today it is home to at least 100 geese and ducks, and has a nice path around it for romantic walks. I would have loved to visit the Park, but at least we still have the lake.

I really like the way the sun is playing on this shallow spot here Dot.The reflections on the water look very pretty especially with the tree top. Simple but beautiful.

Very nice, Ms Dot! The gradients make this very interesting....
I love the way sunlight hits the water and just exposes what is below the surface!
