Water pictures make for some of the most captivating posts that are put up on this site, and I can see why you liked this lake as much as you did.. The way you've composed this pic is very pleasing, with just the right amount of lake in the foreground, and on the other side, the path that leads down to the water's edge is so nicely positioned just off center. The greenery around the far side of the lake is very vivid and pretty, and some find that the greenish tinge to the water is a nice way to present that element. I also love waterpads, and I think there are some here, and I miss being able to see them clearly. I'm not sure I can say the clarity is off, because the deeper green elements are very clear and I have no difficulty seeing them. Perhaps what I am noticing is a bit of over exposure or perhaps an oversaturation of yellow? It seems to wash out those water plants and tends to make the trees in the light in the background a little too bright as well, but as I look at their reflections in the water, all the colors seem to match up very well....maybe it's because I'm on Pat's computer and his monitor is set up so differently from mine, that I'm looking for my own monitor's view...:( So perhaps I have mistaken the very bright yellow vegetation in the immmediate foreground to the left which I thought were plants...maybe they're flowers..anyway..I do love the composition of this, as I said, and those were the only other elements that I wanted to mention. Good work as always, Dot ! :)PJ

The water is so still, there's not a ripple in sight Dot. Very pretty photo indeed. I see there's a picnic table also to enjoy some good eating and a bench to enjoy the water. Thanks Dot.
