I would have liked to see more of the gorgeous background-- and have the image cropped less. But it's a very interesting tree, and a nice view. Great capture.

"Do you see any Teletubbies in here? Do you see a slender plastic tag clipped to my shirt with my name printed on it? Do you see a little Asian child with a blank expression on his face sitting outside on a mechanical helicopter that shakes when you put quarters in it? No? Well, that's what you see at a toy store. And you must think you're in a toy store, because you're here shopping for an infant named Jeb."

Interesting trunk and exposed roots. Seems like a perfect place for a tree house if you want a spectacular view. This is a nice shot that might have been even better if the top and right side of the branches were in view.

I have to agree with some of the earlier comments,Margaret.
There is more detail available in the overall image. Breaking the upper border with the branches can be easily cleaned up with some minor sky cloning. The right border is a bit more work, but it can be handled as well. I've sent you an illustration.
It's a beautiful view and I've been there a number of times.

I agree about the cropping, but I have to say that this shot speaks to me. You've got 'The Eye' Margaret! Polish up a few other tricks and you'll be DANGEROUS with that camera. Well done.

Where we have come from has absolutely no bearing upon where we are capable of going.
