Who doesn't like cardinals? They always brighten up a winter day for me. So I added a pair to this photo. Original photo from stock.xchng, cardinals from my back yard.

Lose the cardinal on the left and this becomes a magnificent and intriguing image.

Apologies for being blunt. I saw this one in the voting booth and had to come by to say how much, first ... I like your manipulation idea ... and then the obvious, IMHO.

Even placement of your second fine-feathered friend on one of the adjacent posts might work. I will leave that decision up to you ... the artist.

I do like this ... make no mistake about that. :o)

I like this image and I agree with above the bird in the left corner is a little distracting. But I like the the red in the bird on the fence and I love the snow as well. Well done

Nice manipulation. I agree that the solitary male on the post is the better image. Pristine background.

oh this is so pretty. it would be gorgeous even with out the cardinals, but that ones bright red one in it really adds a little something. however, the female on the left, is a little bit awkward in its position. almost like it was supposed to be there but by accident was included. i saw the title, but at first didnt see both, only the male. so maybe if you could move it onto the fence with the other one it would be stronger compositionally. otherwise really great work, i really enjoyed it!! ~abby

I like this photo for the fact that there is more fence showing...so there is more depth and perspective . I dont care for the birdie on the left..he's not really 'needed'..as the photo would be good with just the one, or with none at all. Its a gorgeous winter scene..Verena
