Sunflower up close. The entire flower is the size of a large dinner plate. Taken as it was facing the early morning sunlight.

Very nice cropping to keep the very interesting detail in the center, but with enough of the petals to establish the identity of the flower itself, since it likely appears to be mainly yellow when visualizing it without a picture. I love spirals in nature, and there is no better example than the center of a sunflower.
