This made me look and look again... I like the coloring and texture... like corroded rusty metal. This is a good abstract. The one thing that slightly detracts is the small burst of white on the "e." Sure do like the overall effect though!
This is the third image for which I have been asked to render an opinion. None in the trilogy have been easy to critique as the guidelines here are not well defined. My own tastes and preferences lead me to judge an image on several basic levels. Most of my photos are essentially still life and easy to judge based on a standard composition. However, “Censured” is an artistic piece and that is what makes the work so hard to judge. Does the image (art work) create a question, tell a story, or provoke emotion? Is such a message clear, provocative, or boringly obvious? I suspect that the “Censured” image is a brain (with FX applied) in the background. The word censured stamped in the foreground. I like the way the brain is portrayed as hot, almost molten. I like the way the word “censured” is nearly ready to ignite. I gain several conflicting messages from the piece. To that extent it does provoke thought. Regardless, do you see the irony? I am asked to criticize “Censured”.

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.
