UF4. ****Please Full View**** Another image using the averaging technique. This technique is great for turning a busy, harsh all-over texture in a soft, almost watercoler like effect. Again, I added an orbit traps layer to accentuate the julia and to add a little bit more color. 13 total layers.

Beautiful render. It almost seems like it is about to blow apart at the seams. Most excellent. :o)

Wow! This is really unique. I wish I knew how to do this but I think I'll leave it to the professionals like you, lol.

Very nice work. I wish I had even some idea how you did this, but your explanations leave me even more confused than before! I think I missed the explanation of "averaging". Have you considered writing a tutorial covering some of the techniques you describe. You're one of the few people to really try to explain the strategies you use and I think it would be really interesting to see that. I'm guessing that at least some of the techniques are applicable in multiple programmes and, if so, those might be especially interesting since I doubt you could cover everything. I don't think I have the skills to apply such knowledge, but I'd still be more than curious to know even a little about how you do what you do.
