well, the clock represents the time and the time is always running, u cant stop it
and it means lifetime..I mean, every sec is different and u can never live the same moment u lived one sec ago
the time is luxury cause it give u everything, but sometimes we are prisoners of time, 'cause we try to go against the time
but when you die...the time is still runing...very nice composition and impresive subject to post the lifetime.
Like I said before, you find very interesting subjects for your pictures, oryginal. I got this one in voting booth, and I thought "what a different picture, very good". I like especially the colors and lighting on it.
Now arent you the clever one??!! I love the lighting in this photo..I would love to see you take it again, and lean the front of the watch sort of next to it...to show the face of it..I love your ideas....you make everything so interesting my friend!! hugggggggggs to you today..V
Wow Bernd, I love the deep gold tone you put on this image, you made the mundane so extraordinarily beautiful ! You turned it into a work of art. In our daily lives we move to time's beat, yet you managed to master time. Congratulations. 10 out of 10 from me !
Lauren
A few days out of Caedes and I have problems to keep up with the fresh images of yours, lol. Splendid closeup Bernie. But I prefer to treat it as a metaphore. The question is: is the time running against me? The light reflection contributes to the atmosphere of the image.
First of all I should say that you have done a good job with focusing and lighting.
Some times you become a prisoner of time but some times its the other way. There are so much you can do in the same amount of time and some take the real advantage of it. But yes one day all will end and every thing will be history and that it self is another definition of time. Its amazing.
I like that image. Great focus and macro. Colors and lightning is incredible too. Those words on it looks very nice, and and I don't know what to say, just... 10 from me. Ceep practising.. =]
First thought was ... if that strap is leather and has some grain to it, I would love to see a series of these from you.
Me, I like contrasts in textures and colours.
As the image stands ... holy moly, you are good. It is a poetic and somewhat, melancholy image, for me anyways. I appreciate 'times' like this, where I get to share the benefit of your talents in viewing this image ... and then on a somber note ... there is only a finite amount of this precious commodity.
So, thank you for not wasting my 'time'. Yeah, a little joke ;) .
Great work ... once again.
(Oops ... p.s. Don't change a thing ... this is perfect as far as technical considerations go. Nice composition, DOF, good balance and and ... 'nuff said.)
Hello Bernie...Shooting still life subjects is one of the best ways to sharpen your photographic skills. You can take your time, and your subject remains stationary. Good composition, framing and lighting are all very important to translate your still life into a great photo and this is a great photo...Well done....All the best...Mick.
Hi Bernd, a stunning still-life and a fascinating image to study, especially at full resolution, where the clarity and light are reallt emphasised. Congratulations on a truly marvellous still-life.
Imagine you are in a space ship, and you reach light speed... wll you can't think that, you can't imagine that... but still... you got infinite time, infinite space, infinite engery...
