This is a part of red painted harvest machine which rusts in peace on the open field. The late afternoon sun added some more of the nice reddish color. For all your trash and machinery lovers out there, tell me your opinion...

Bernie,
The COLOURS and the detail are great here. Since my brain tends to display lots of masculine merits I am also able to appreciate the mechanic valours of this old trash ...

Bernie - WOW oragnes, browns, reds and look a little tiny green plant growing in the rust. Man makes it and nature devours it. If nature like it, I like it. Nice shot Bernie. Do more Please.

Hey Bernd!! Isnt it strange how something so old and rusted out can still look so good?! I love the earthy rich tones....its like all the colours of Autumn leaves got on here and then melted...I can see this matted, framed and hung in a interesting room, maybe a loft...very nice shot my friend! I would love to see a macro of just the "wheel"...not sure what else to call it....

Amazing how the most mundane of subjects can be the most extraordinary given the right circumstances & the right artist ? Once again you've given us a new vision of an everyday thing, something most of us would pass by & dismiss as ugly, your artistic eye saw the beauty within. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

This is a great image that you captured. I love the colors in this picture. This shot is great. I do love how the sun shadows parts of the image. Great work

Very nice. We always had plenty of old implements parked in various stages of rust around the farm. They were like retired family members. I appreciate your risk taking and original ideas for image and composition.

Very interesting piece. Good in details and white balance. I like the sharpness too. Sure there is much more atristic value in some things when its captured in the correct way.

What a great shot, nothing better than a big pile of rusty "stuff", but at the same time it does take an eye for a good texture shot, and it appears you've got one. Give us more of this lush old bute, come on now I know you took more shots..............Texture rules, John

I'm a sucker for rust. Like the afternoon light that casts such deep shadows like a sundial and deepens the crevices in the rust.
