I came across this field when the sun was about to set. I liked that golden glow so much that I stopped my bike and got my camera out. When I recognized how different the sky looked through my rearview mirror I decided to take this shot as it can be seen here. Hope you like it...

Very interesting Bernd. The blue sky with white puffs in the add a whole new dimension to this in the rear view mirror. The golden fields are beautiful and I'm not sure that the mirror doesn't take a little bit away from their beauty. Thanks for sharing this with us. Anita

Great eye Bernie! Those golden grains are beautiful and quite a stunning difference in color from the bright blue sky behind you. Nice post!

Wow...very cool Bernd! The color transition from the greens to the gold are really beautiful, but with the mirror in the foreground, it makes this image even more spectactular! Thanks for sharing :) ~lori

Both this and Natural Aperture are great, Bernd. Sure hope you took another shot of this golden field, and single tree.

Bernie, The Fields of gold look so real when you come across them with you bike! You can feel them, smell them, you kinda know there were there for you! I do not know if this was the story of the photo, but it looks this way for me. Awesome job!

I love this picture. The composition is brilliant, the mirror with blue sky makes it more interesting. Very nice geometry. I like very much the golden - green fields, that are sa nicely balanced by the trees.

Bernie, my dear I'd rather you left your bike aside and shot the field giving up the road. The red glow of evening sun works all the magic. "Windows theme" (meaning fields) is my favourite.
