About 100 meters from my sisters house lies this old blacksmith (obviously not in use anymore). Turned out like something out of a fairytale I think. What do you think? EOS 400d, EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 USM IS at 130mm f/4,5 1/30 s ISO 800

Nostalgic capture David! And yes I think it looks like its out of a fairy tale too. Great shot!

Very nice subject and well composed, but I wouldn't have gone so far on the color. Either way I like and would really like to see some closer shots of it. Old buildings and structures always make great subjects!

Very nice composition. Graininess gives the image a
painting-like quality. I particularly likt the white
flowers in the bottom right giving the image depth
of field. Your image might be a little dark. While
darkness gives your image mood, too dark detracts
from the quality. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

If the economy doesn't improve we may be living in houses like this. I think the darkness gives this more of a horror flick feel than a fairy tale.

It's probably more the Blaire witch fairytale! :0) The blue cast of the photo creates a very cold environment which in my opinion creates a very dark mood. Horror movies use this technique to create the feel of doom sometimes.
Take this shot in a very sunny day and the mood may be more of a fairytale feel. It would be interesting to compare and contrast!
