Those are some pretty healthy looking ferrets! the line of them along the log is a great compositional element, though spoiled a bit by the blurred half ferret at bottom right hiding the head of the second ferret. It is an appealing shot.
It's a cute shot. Unfortunately, the composition itself is distracting. Shooting wildlife is generally a gamble, but it's always better to get more area coverage, than not enough. You can always crop excess.
You might yet make a great shot by cloning out the 1st animal and then clone the face of the middle one onto the new 1st Ferret . Exposure and setting is excellent.
What a cute and wonderful shot! Never saw so many together in the woods like this. Wish that the first one wasn't cut in half. But that can happen when trying to photograph animal, esp ferrets. Personally, I would have just crop off the first one.
Having been the exasperated owner of a ferret once, I'm guessing this was staged with pets. Getting one of them to sit still for a moment is quite an achievement, let alone this many. Just like herding cats. One of my favorite animals though, next to dogs. For the right person, they're the perfect pet. I hope each one had a long and happy life. A lovely shot.
