The semaphore is the Penmarc'h, on the site of St. Peter. Its construction dates back to 1862. This is one of the 59 semaphores covering French coasts.
This is a wonderfully presented image, Christian, very suited to the vertical format and very interesting and appealing structure...it has the look of a professional post card...well done and a fave for me.

Love the shot, Christian, but rather small dimensions. I clicked the image as usual for maximum size, and it downloaded an even smaller image. Try it for yourself. Both copies of the image show the same measurement (838X600) but appear at different sizes. Yours is not the first I've seen, though it is the first I've measured both versions. Thought you should know.
