It's full name maybe the Black Crowned Crane, & Raj mentions the Grey to add further confusion! Check out this Wikipedia link.

Phil, being right is the full name: Black Crowned Crane and not gray crowned crane.

Christian, this is a very nice capture of the Crowned Crane. It could have been slightly better when you had showed its feet as well, the more that you have some idle space at the top of your image.
