The Marite is a three-masted schooner built in 1923 French. It is the denier of the earth-neuviers wooden French heritage. Basically it was intended to work codfisher, but over the years it became a pleasure boat. - Three-masted schooner - Length overall: 44,90 m - Width: 8 m - Clearance: 28 m - Draught: 3.60 m - Surface of sails: 650 m2 - Weight: 210 tonnes - Crew: 7 nautical - Engine: 450 hp

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
A lot of more modern ones wouldn't last as long at this magnificent vessel..I like the mono presentation too
