I wasn't really sure if this image was completlely finished as i think there is something missing from it. If anyone could point me in the right direction of what that could be, that would be great. If not thanks anyway.

I can not tell if anything is missing. It seems to be an interesting work. The main thing is are satisfied with the result.

The bright light in the center would be better if replaced with a dark and somber light to create a moody atmosphere to go well with the snow. Cool textures though!

I like the light in the original Snow Day better (doesn't have that bright glow in the center) and I think perhaps too much of the definition was lost in making it stylized. The trees have more detail in the original. Maybe the texture/brushstroke effect needs to be more subtle? I really like the bluish color and increased contrast though.

Because of the way the original image is cropped - an incomplete tree - try seeing if you like it laid out with a frame, or against a different-color background, such as black or brown. Often pieces feel more finished that way just because we can look at them by themselves more easily, the way we would frame & mat traditional artwork.
