I know I have posted a lot of pictures of the Votiv Church already. But almost every time I see it, where ever I am at that moment, I feel like "shooting" it again. This time, it is the view from the Frankgasse, and maybe some of you know the "lion" in the left corner ...

Wonderful! The spires and the colors really stand out and this is a nice perspective from which to shoot the image.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

great picture my friend, love the bleu sky behind it so the church looks much better and you can see the peek-a-boo of the windows in the tower:-)

Is that your dentist I see peeking out of one of the windows to the right, Sabine? This is truly an amazing architectural presentation; one that I am temporarily at a loss of superlatives to describe. Suffice it to say this has got to end up in a permanent gallery. Gorgeous.........Neil

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.

Hi Sabine. You've captured this one with perfect clarity and every little detail can be seen. Excellent composition and the depth is terrific. Great job.

I love the contrasts of architecture and lighting here. The almost filigreed detail on the spires against the monolithic structures in the foreground. That sky then sets it all off to perfection. Very well done Sabine. Love it:o))
Cheers,
Steve.
