I took this shot, standing in front of the Parliament here in Vienna, Austria, standing directly behind the Pallas Athene. If you want to learn more about this lady, or see her front in a perfect nightshot, follow this link to Chris' picture but don't forget to come back again. In my picture you can see what Pallas Athene is looking at: the public park "Volksgarten," the residences of the canceller and the president of Austria and the "Ring," the busy street that goes round the 1st district of Vienna. I hope you like what you/she see/s.

Such amazing sculptures you show us Sabine!! Hard to keep track of them all! Great job by both you and Chris! Between the two of you I got to see all the way around her, in the dark and in the light! Who could ask for more! I bet one could never see everything in a weeks time! Nice capture! :)

you two really are a team!! :) one shows the back of the statue, the other shows the front! I love it!! ...and this photograph is the best one I have seen from you yet Sabine - I love the way you positioned it on the photo and the fact that you took it at the perfect time of day with the low sun highlighting all the buildings in the background. This one goes into my favourites! well done! Patti

I REALLY like your perspective on this, Sabine - it is a wonderful shot. I might have cloned out the contrail in the sky - it distracted my eye just a bit but not badly. Beautiful -

Wonderful, I like the way you eliminated the foreground as much as possible and made the statue and the far away city the main focal point. Sharp photo.

The composition and perspective combine to create a wonderful image which takes you into the statue and through her eyes into the distance - wonderful!
Unusual pair of trainers she's holding? [Nike!? - sorry;o/]
Cheers,
Steve.
