Yesterday Chris brought me with my wheelchair to the Danube and there I was able to take lessons in doing nightshots. Well, I think this one worked out not so bad. You see the 22nd district of Vienna, which, as you can see, is not such an old part of the city.

Different...Usually it's the more "Baroque Period" stuff (If it ain't "baroque"...don't fix it! - Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!)...Nice capture indeed!

I love this, i love the blackness of it with the lights shining in the distance and the reflections in the water. You did good girl!

I think it turned out excellently Sabine! The only thing I would do is to straighten the horizon very slightly so the water is level, but this image is very sharp for a nighttime shot - well done! Patti

I agree with Patti on the horizon line, but other than that I find it fascinating that the reflections in the water of the lights more readily pick up the colored lights than the white ones. I'm sure there's a perfectly good scientific reason for that, but darned if I know..nice shot, Sabine, and I'm glad Chris is taking such good care of you:)

I just hope that when you are able to walk again, you will bring us some images shot from that high tower on the left in the image, so that we will be able to view beautifull Vienna from above.

Nice job Sabine! I didnt know there was a "flip side" to your city! I think it would be best to do as you do here. The older side during the day, and modern side at night! Good shot!
