This guy, Titus, sits in front of the Parliament here in Vienna. The architects of the Parliament tried to make everything look old Greek and old Roman. Titus Manlius Torquatus was a statesman in the old Rom. Thats all I was able to find out about him.

One could compose a thesis on just the statues in Vienna alone... Probably someone has! (LOL) Great post!

Beautiful photograph, the contrast of sky and sculptures is wonderful. Your images are so sharp, I am always impressed by the quality of the image even if the image is a little weak. Lovely work. Keep it up, we like looking at your photos.

Oh that is a marvelous image Sabine !
I just saw Chris posting, that one had such a super sky as well.
Great work, the gold just shines against the sky, and the image very sharp.
You could even cut yourself with that. for me it is a 10/10 again.

Very patrician/elder statesman looking! Nicely exposed to capture just enough shadowy detail without bleaching out that glorious sky. Very well done.
Cheers,
Steve.
