Roosevelt Place is the place behind the Votiv church, I have shown you several times. The whole place is reason enough for a new, mini series. I do not know, why the name is Roosevelt, but maybe because the 9th district was part of the american zone after WW2. All those houses you will see on this place were built between 1870 and 1890. Please enjoy. (Some of the images were shot in November, but I waited so long to post them, since I hoped for more information, why the place has this name).

I expect you are right about the name Sabine referring to Lieutenant Theodore Roosevelt, the major US figure who was involved in the peace talks after WWII. This building is beautiful - another fine architectural achievement - I think they must all have been master builders! Patti

I like your guess on the reason for the name Sabine! Very nice looking building here and your shot is dead on! I like the fact you included the pretty blue sky in this also! Nice!!

A very handsome building Sabine. Is there no end to the fabulous delights of your fair city;o) I've tried Googling but found nothing relevant about the naming. You're probably right. Another great composition from you, that lighting picking out all the fine architectural detail perfectly.
Cheers,
Steve.
