Sabine, my first impression was that this was a manipulation. But after watching this image better, I 'discovered' a surprising image. Good idea to take the mono coloured mountains as background of the coloured houses. Well done! Regards, Cornelius
A very good composition and the subject was well spotted, i love it, and the houses look great against that massive stone background setting. Well done !
I like the houses and their colors and I think what I'm seeing against the mountain, as you're saying this is after some rain, is probably humidity? The sun is out and that's what happens here usually in the summer time..it gets hot and humid after the rain...interesting at any rate :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

they look like neat coloured buildings! i like the contrast with them against the mountain! it does look hazy there, i hope the rain didnt spoil your day too much.

I love the man vs nature stuff, Sabine and this is wonderful. The buildings are so vibrant against the rock face in the background. Good eye to spot this and great eye on the composition -
