The Nature Park Styrian Eisenwurzen is situated in one of the geologically most diverse areas of Austria and is a member of the European Geoparks Network and UNESCO Global Geoparks Network. GeoLine is the earth science programme of the Alpine Region Gesaeuse National Park. It makes you experience 250 Million years of the history of the Alps. This is the beginning of a new series. I hope you will enjoy this walk the way, I did in October 2007.

Fabulous begining. The angle and the slope are great, the colors stunning. It's so natural we can almost smell the grass and the fresh air. Waiting for more Sabine.

"The Hills Are Alive, With The Photos of Sabine." You do so well on these. What a good start we have on our walk. Much to look at and a walkbridge waiting for us. Warm, sunny day and mountains to look at. This is just great Sabine.

I'm ready to go. Looks like October here was still mighty green and this must be a beautiful tour. I see a little of the scene ahead to tempt me to go on.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
