I think it's a Psycho deer. Do you remember Norman Bates in the Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho? At the end there's a fly buzzing around and bothering him, but he/she's thinking how if he/she does nothing people will say: "Why look at her, she's so kind she wouldn't hurt a fly."
