Hi Sabine I love this picture. I really like the way you've captured the sun full on without over exposing it and shadowing the rest of the picture. Beautiful scenery and well composed too.

I like the gray hues and the frilly branches in silhouette. This is a lovely place by the water and the sun looks so much like a star, the wonderful, huge star that it is and I can imagine that she is welcomed about this time since it has been drab winter here in the Northern Hemisphere for a bit. Today we got some nice sunshine, but it is still below freezing on the thermometer!

Aw, I'm sad to hear you don't get that muc sun there! :( I'm glad you had a chance to enjoy it! The sun in this picture seems to down out some of the other fabulous natrual colors of the sky, trees and water. Perhaps a little adjusting would bring them out a bit more. Overall, it looks like a perfect day to be outside!
