I wish I could show you the whole church one day, but they are always working on parts of it - so here are more details of our most famous church here in Vienna.
Good shot Sabine. I can see a portion of the scaffolding and some netting. I would imagine it would take a long time to repair this beautiful church. Are they sandblasting? I like how you captured everything in this shot. Have a good weekend.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Wonderful detailed image of a to me well known church (thanks to Chris' images). The architecture is really stunning. Very good work Sabine!

The attack of the safety net monster again, huh? I hate to shoot these places piecemeal, but life is life. I really like the perspective of this shot, Sabine. I'm also pleased that the netting is not green. Thanks for sharing this beautiful rendering of the detail in St Stephan's.
My goodness that is ornate. I guess it shows how inspired men can be when they are making something to give glory to God. I like the angle on your shot.
