I've never seen the islands in San Juan, Washington, but seeing them in your image makes me want to visit them now. I just think it's wonderful how we can experience other areas of the world through the lenses of other peoples cameras. Good job.
I like the contrast of the brown textured rock against the grayness of the clouds and water. I can imagine how beautiful this area must be when mother nature is more cooperative, Les
I think this is a great shot that could be improved by a few of things. 1) (too late now, but for future) I think your focal point should have been a little bit further out so that the brown foreground rocks were crisper and really shown to advantage, 2) Your horizon line is tilted which you can fix post-process, it's not a big thing, but it's the type of thing that leaves people feeling off balance, and not knowing why. 3) a little more contrast (which can also be done post-process) would bring more clarity to this windy storm tossing day that you've captured. Of course… all of that is my opinion 8•) and I look forward to seeing more from you.
Thanks for sharing.
