I'm not sure what the brush looks like as I don't have PhotoShop, but I can see why the creature might well be a little insane if he or she has been trapped in this lot for very long. Intriguingly complex design. It reminds me of a maze, with a creature trapped within that maze, deep underground, perhaps, and becoming crazier and crazier as the years pass...
It's rather cruel and somewhat sad more than scary, I think.

wow. very good composition: I love the colors of the fractal, and that face is placed very well. I also like the spin that you put on the fractal: When i first looked at it, it look just "pretty", with lovely colors that work well together. Then i saw the face... The fractal took on an ominous aura, and I decidedly don't want to join that face in there. excellent.
