May God Bless the Men and Women fighting for our freedom. May we never forget the sweat and blood and tears that were shed so that we might be free. I know it is Cliche, but Freedom is not free. It was bought with the lives of those who have gone before us. The hopes and dreams and ideals that our forefathers came to these shores with spawned an empire like no other. Men who lived for nothing but their God and their families. They left for us a gift and a legacy that many wish to steal away. Praise God for those willing to fight for freedom. The Marines, The Navy, the Army, the Air Force, the National Guard, The Firemen, the Policemen, and the Every Day Heroes, who give without thought of reward. We should all be willing to fight for Freedom, and for truth. For the Ideal. For God And Country.

I am not free as long as my country occupies another.
You did a wonderful job on this image, btw.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

You did an excellent job here! Wonderful composition. You picked some great pictures. Are they stock photos. Though I don't care for the red 'haze' that covers 3/4 of the image. But still, wonderful work. I have a cousin in Iraq and I really appreciate this.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.

Very nice. Powerful image.

I personally don't agree with the current war as much as the next guy, who doesn't agree heh, and I know the solution to the problem as well as the next guy too, but I will say this; Agree or disagree with Bush (or your specific political regime) but always support your soldiers and your people. I may not want to salute Bush but I will always, with pride, salute our men and women in uniform.

Thats my 2 cents...

Glad to comment on this one Caiden. Showing support for our troops is so important. Weather you agree with the war going on or not these brave men and women are fulfilling a duty to their country with exceptional bravery and courage. I am very proud of my countrymen and women and pray for them every night.

Now for the photo. Your ability to blend in the the many phases of the picture is outstanding. The picture draws your eyes around the photo several times. Great job.

All pro or con comments aside concerning the current war in Iraq, I think this is a beautiful and most deserving tribute to the men and women who serve on our behalf to keep us free and enjoying the privileges of living in the western world...great collage and very nicely done.:Pat.

This collage is excellent. The picture perfectly portray the meaning you intended. We owe a great deal these men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country and freedom. Our national anthem, in the third verse, says, "O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation; Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us as a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.' And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

In Christ alone,

Naomi

Just in case anyone was wondering what the flags all were. The obvious ones are the American Flag and the Florida State flag, but the two on the right might be strange to some. The all blue one is our college flag, and the white one with the dark blueish field with the red cross on it is the Christian flag. Just so y'all know.

Caiden.

Great work, makes you think back, way back, when men were fighting for what we call America and it's very existence. We need to remember that this country is only here because of what our brothers that went before us did and we must never let anyone take away from us what they died for. As John A. Dix once said "If any one attempts to haul down the American flag, shoot him on the spot."

The easyest way to get a critique out of someone is to think about what they didn't tell you.
