I love the concept, and excellent execution. One of the very few to ever get a perfect "10" from me. :c)

Thanks everyone for the feedback. The background is Bryce, not Terragen (though it does look a bit terragen-like).

Darryl: yes, a 'real' background would probably look nice and I did consider it, but I couldn't resist CGI.

i love the idea here, the use of negative space is very effective. however, the edges on it are rough and could be cleaned up more. also, what you are showing us within the negative space, the mountain and the giant leaf, wasn't very planned out, and it clashes a bit. the integration of CGI with the real does NOT work here. 7/10

I really love the idea you had. I think the CGI could have had more depth but I shouldn't really say anything since I don't have the slightest clue of how to make on in the first place... ^_^

great concept and idea. like the depth here. the leaf on the landscape was not really necessary though, seem a bit distracting... but all in all, it's a very nice work. well done captain!^^

Yes, I see what you mean. I think the idea in my mind was that the leaf is sort of falling away. It has opened up into this whole other world and the leaf has dropped into it. Plus I just liked the leaf - I baulked at losing it altogether.

The edges of the 'window' were originally very sharp, but I stroked the edge of it to lose some of the clarity.

Sparked my imagination as soon as I saw it. A lateral take on the image presented... some sort of camougflaged, home-made flying craft flying away from some unseen foe. One of the best for effect and idea 10/10.

Superb concept, and well executed. I would tighten up the selection area for the cut out - use less anti-aliasing for the selection tool, or have you gaussian blurred the area? Also the background image I would make something a little more believable for being behind a wall of leaves. Perhaps a forest, or just a section of cloudy sky.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, i deliberately blurred the edge of the selection area - funny, a few people have commented on that.
