I went to the optometrist the other day to have an eye test - I found I was occasionally having problems with small print. Consequently I have now been prescribed glasses to correct slight astigmatism in both eyes. I hardly wear them at all, but I was just playing around with some photos and came up with this.

Tracy, Annemf, Darryl, many thanks for your feedback on this image. I prefer this look with the slightly blurred text to just a 'standard' photo. The lenses themselves are not very strong, so I gave the pic a helping hand with photoshop.

I absolutely love it. Very artistic on how an object can put things into perspective making things able to understand. I was wondering, however, if you could take the same photo...but rather than on a fantasy novel, on the Bible. And I was wondering, if you could do that...then if I could use it as background for a title page for a Bible study?

This is a very nice idea...Sounds common but details change it a lot..Which you used very cleverly...The angle...Glasses out of cadre...And the clear writing after glasses...Very nice...great shot..
