As most of my sunsets and shoreline photographs seem to be widely enjoyed, I figured I would again try and combine the two in an intoxicating blend of lightness and darkness, and the rough texture of the sand with the smooth glass like quality of the water. Even though some nasty things have happened in my life in the past few days, this picture just seemed to make the world okay as I sat next to the boat in the sand, and just listened to the waves in the water roll over the sands of the beach.

It is a beautiful capture of the beauty God has given us in our lives. That's quite a talent that you have been given. Good job. When you see a sight like this, you can't help but see how good God is to us. No matter what we do, no matter what happens, God is always waiting for us with open arms, if only we'd confess and come to him for forgiveness. No pain is too sharp, no pit too deep, no darkness too thick. He can sooth the pain, he can pull you to safety, he can throw wide the shutters and pierce the darkness. He only waits for your cry. Comfort is never far away, when God is everywhere.
