Interesting picture, I believe you should enlarge your view point instead to focus too much on particular.

There is something a little sad in seeing this water wheel as a derelict... in fact the entire area looks totally neglected. Your textures ae sharp and clear and your composition invites the eye to travel all around this picture. This is a shot that haunts.... both the shooter and the viewer.
