Interesting shot. I like the perspective and lines in the shot. Nice clarity and textures on the grate. Thanks for sharing.

Great symmetry, unusual color, and dramatic perspective. It might have added even more interest to include a small delicate asymmetrical plant (or something else small, delicate and asymmetrical) as a contrast to the hard, dominating geometrics of the grid.

I think you should have talked your cousin into smooshing his (her?) face up against the inside of the grate (just for a hoot, y'know.) "Luckyshot" is right about your depth of field but you can adjust that with your new Rebel. Maybe you should go back sometime and reshoot it with more DOF on your Rebel so you can compare them, and be even happier with your new camera... if that's possible :o)
