Yes, crabapples, although they look like berries. This is an unusual situation: the leaves were blown away but the little apples remained, apparently attached more tightly than the leaves. I know this isn't really a "garden" image, but Caedes should create a new plant category: either that, or trees, or autumn. Enhanced a bit with Photomatix Pro--the reds aren't quite that red in real life.

I guess those are some pretty tough little apples! Very nice shot Randy. The work on the crabapples really helps them to stand out and the background is subtle and lovely.
