This is an unaltered image of Monet's Japanese Garden I took at Giverny last October. It has only been reduced to Caedes maximums and converted from raw to .png, posted as .jpg. I think the image has real potential but I lack the expertise to bring out its best features. I invote anyone who wishes to take the image and play with it, re-post it and tell me what you did, using what software. I HAVE played, using GraphicConverter, Photoshop and Photomatix Pro, but got nothing I liked. Following is an alteration using only a Photoshop filter. Kinda bleh.

I think this is actually a beautiful image! The willow leaves hanging in the foreground really add to the whole scene.

You could maybe crop just a little off the left, just enough to remove that arbor, which is a little distracting. I really like this!

Saved and faved!

p.s.I like this one better than the other one...

I agree with Connie, the willow tree leaves hanging make for an interesting perspective. I also like the soft colors in the background. Nice work, Randy.
