WOW, I really like this presentation Chuck. The b&w really makes one aware of many things. It has great depth and the mountain with snow on the top in the background sure makes it a beautiful scene. Great post and thanks for sharing it. TYU ;)
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
This reminds me of one of those old Gold Rush films. You have captiured it well my friend. great capture. "Man I've just realised I seem to be following Chuck around at the moment." So he knows I'm not stalking him lol.
I really like how you've captured the mountains all the way around in this Chuck. Sometimes a B&W photo just shows the detail so much better . Looks good.
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
For sure a beautiful place, and wonderful you captured it so well. I like the B&W with this one also. It sure puts the drama there even more. Colorado is such a pretty place. Here in ORegon we have Crater Lake which looks much like the setting of your photo. I hope you will post many more Co. nature photos...It's such a gorgeous state..thank you so much for an enjoyable photo..Verena
Yeah ... I'm sure the lake is beautiful no matter what ... but not everyone with a camera in their hands is gonna capture that beauty the way you did. The B&W is impressive but personally I think color would help define more of the abundant detail in this image. Then again an image like this reminds me just how blessed I am not being colorblind. Wonderful posting Chuck ... Thanks for showing it to me.
