This pine tree appears to be hangind on with a very tenuious foothold. Looks like it could topple over at any time.

Trees have an amazing hidden strength, don't they! Wonderfully composed and an interesting subject, Chuck!

Dynamite capture Chuck with lovely depth and composition. The different shades of green agains those rough rocks really looks great and I'm glad they won't let go of their foothold. Excellent capture and post. Thanks for sharing this.

I guess they have to learn to adapt to their surroundings or die Chuck. Looks like it's doing a pretty good job of surviving even though most of the roots are exposed. Excellent capture of nature overcoming it's obstacles.

Funny how they can grow right out of solid rock isnt it? Nice shot of these Chuck; I really like the way you have caught the roots spreading out over the rocks!

This is an Amazing tree. The whole area looks like it is almost constructed. It has a quality I can't quite describe. Good shot.
