You hike around a curve in the trail and look to the left. There is the most beautiful view. This is my Colorado.

And right you are Chuck....Colorado is beautiful. I spent a few days in Pagosa Springs last August and it was lovely...not quite as green as other parts of the state but still gorgeous. You've certainly captured a beauty here all the way around. The framing and composition is very nice and the colors magnificant. Great post and thanks for sharing your hike.

Great post Chuck the colours are something!...your framing through those trees was good...just a little 'niggle' though...can you level out the horizon a touch!....it dont take nothing away from this beauty....very nice.......

YOUR COLORADO??? Nobody told me we sold it. LOL Just kiddin' Chuck. I've always wanted to see for myself this wonderful section of our country, but have had to make do with photographs in publications. Now as a Caedes member I get to see a lot more of it's beauty through postings such as this one. Your pics are more than a delight to look at ... they are inspirational. Great work ... Thanks for sharing them.

Hey chuck

Very nice image. Good color and composition. And since we haven't run across each other before, I'd like to extend a welcome to Caedes. It's always nice to see new faces.

I've been to CO quite a few times and I must say, it's one of the most remarkable and beautiful places in this country. Chuck, you've done an excellent job capturing what really is a typical scene for that area. I hope the folks who live there don't take it for granted! - Patty

You don't have to convince me of CO's beauty. I toured Estes State Park and went up to the top of Mount Evans all on my motorcycle one time...Wolf Creek Pass also. Gorgeous State. Beautiful composition you have here. Makes me wanna come back.
