This is the Conejos River in the Rio Grande National Forest. It runs through the village of Platoro on its way south. Lots of nice trout here.

A picture is worth a thousand words--that DOES NOT mean I will comment a thousand...It will be a Yay or Nay.

You do know how to torture a guy ... what a setting to cast a fly in. Think I'd keep clear of the evergreen on the left ... gives me the jitters leaning like that. Wonderful scene Chuck so VERY well captured. GRRrrrrrrr!

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

What a beautiful scene Chuck. The trees changing color almost look purple and are magnificant against the green. Your lighting and composition are terrific here and I'm so glad you shared this beauty.

That creek looks refreshing. Don't let Herry see this, he'll be there shooting pictures. The water appears shallow for fish to be living in it. Beautiful scene, Chuck. Keep'em coming.
